WW1 Art Competition

As part of Leamington FC’s WW1 day on Sunday 7th October , Brunswick Hub will be running an art competition for 5-11 year olds, with the winning pieces being displayed in Leamington Spa Art Gallery.

The theme is ‘The Legendary Story of the First World War Football Match’ and we’ll be looking for entrants to find an imaginative way of bringing the game to life on paper. There will be a winner in each age category (5-8yrs and 9-11yrs) and both winners will have their masterpiece framed and displayed in the Art Gallery in the Royal Pump Rooms!

Entries can be in paint, crayon, felt-tip or a collage and should be no smaller than A4, no bigger than A3. They can be handed in to us at Brunswick Hub or dropped off at Leamington Football Club and should have the entrant’s name, age, address and a contact number on the reverse.

The closing date is Thursday 27th September. We shall unveil the winning works of art on 7th October at the WW1 Day, prior to the re-enactment of the First World War football game.
