Current opportunties
Garden Volunteers
Our Secret Garden will be open in the summer months and we are looking for anybody that wants to get involved - Whether it be helping to do a bit of planting or dropping in a regular basis to water plants.
Walk Leader Volunteer
Our Walking group runs on Monday mornings from 10.30am and the leader would take a group walking one of a variety of routes in the local area. Any volunteer would need to be willing to take part in the Wellbeing Walk Leader training to undertake the role.
Reception Volunteers
Reception staff & volunteers are the first point of contact for those visiting or getting in touch with the Hub. The role involves dealing with enquiries on the phone, by email and face-to-face so you would need to be fairly confident speaking with lots of different people. We’re currently looking for someone with availability on Tuesday and/or Thursday.
Triple Link Volunteers
Our team of Triple Link volunteers are a friendly face and source of support for those living with dementia and their carers that attend our Triple Link Dementia Cafe. The role involves serving teas & coffees, helping out/joining in with the weekly activity and being there to have a chat with the service users. The session runs every Wednesday morning so anybody interested in the role would need to be available at this time.
If you are interested in any of the above roles, get in touch with us. Call 01926 422123 or email frontdesk@brunswickhlc.org.uk
Please note: We do not currently have any other specific volunteer roles available but if you have some time that you wish to give and would like to see if we can find a place for you in our volunteer team, we'd be happy to hear from you.
Alternatively, check back in the future to see if any of the below roles become available.
Employment Club Volunteers
Help the Employment Advisers run the employment club service by assisting individuals with their job seeking activities.
Community Food Volunteers
Help the Community Food Project Officer with various tasks such as sorting food donations, picking up surplus food from supermarkets and assisting with the free food table.
