Christmas at the Hub
Christmas is once again going to be keeping all of us at Brunswick Hub very busy! Here is a one-stop guide to all that is happening here at the Hub…
Christmas Appeal
We will once again be running our Christmas appeal, asking for donations that allow us to:
- Help those that need it by providing gifts and food to families struggling to make ends meet
- Raise money on (and in the run up to) our Turkey Batch Day that goes to our Chilled Foodbank project & Hardship that helps both families and individuals throughout the year.
We are asking for various donations this year:
- New toys and gifts
- Chocolate Selection boxes
- Nearly new toys, games,books, etc for children (for our Nearly New Tabletop sales – see below)
- Filled mugs/tombola prizes – Click here for more info
- Christmas/general food items*
*For the food items, we are running a ‘Reverse Adverse Calendar’ again this year. This is where we reveal an item from our wishlist each day that we are hoping we get donations of – We are doing this in November rather than December, so that items can be distributed to those we help during the Christmas period.

Donations of any of the above can be dropped off at the Hub from Monday 17th November – Tuesday 9th December, during our opening hours (Monday-Friday, 9.30-3.00). If you would like to donate but are unable to get here during those hours, get in touch via email on frontdesk@brunswickhlc.org.uk and we will see if we can help.
Nearly New Sales
We will be holding several tabletop sales in the run up to Christmas with nearly new toys, games and books.
Friday 28th November, 10-2
Friday 5th December, 10-2
Friday 12th December, 10-2
The sale will also be running on our Turkey Batch day (see below)

Christmas Craft Sessions
On Friday 5th December, we will be running some Christmas Craft sessions here at the Hub for families. The sessions are free and are suitable for children* and adults.
1.30 – 2.30pm
5.00-6.00pm
*please note that children attending will need to be accompanied by an adult

Turkey Batch Day
Our annual Christmas event is running this year on Wednesday 17th December, from 11.30am-2.30pm.
Once again, we invite members from the local and wider community to join us for some festive fun and grab a FREE turkey batch with all the trimmings!
We will have a variety of things going on – Tombolas, Tabletop sale(see above), etc and will be raising money for our Chilled Foodbank & Hardship fund.
It isn’t essential to book, but you can get in touch with us from 1st November to reserve your free turkey batch to avoid disappointment on the day! Call us on 01926 422123 or email frontdesk@brunswickhlc.org.uk

Christmas Closure
As usual, Brunswick Hub will be closed for the Christmas break.
We will close on Friday 19th December at 12pm and reopen on Monday 5th January 2026 with regular opening times.
