Courses from September 2022
EDITED:From September, we will be running new courses here at Brunswick Hub, including various IT courses and 7-week short courses in both Maths and English for those wanting to improve their skills.

There is a drop-in session on Monday 12th September 1-3pm here at the Hub for anyone that wants to know more about the courses and sign up.

I.T Courses
We have various IT skills courses running in the new academic year:
Essential Digital Skills Qualification – Computing for Beginners (Free to all those 18+ who have lived in the UK for 3 years). This course runs for 23 weeks on Wednesdays, 9.30-11.30am from 21st September.
Digital Gateway to Work course (Free to those receiving certain state benefits – must have lived in the UK for 3 years). This course runs for 5 weeks on Wednesdays, 12.30-3.15pm from 21st September.
Using the Internet and Email (Free to those receiving certain state benefits – must have lived in the UK for 3 years). This course runs for 5 weeks on Fridays, 10.00am -12.00pm from 23rd September
Using an iPad (Free to those receiving certain state benefits – must have lived in the UK for 3 years). This course runs for 10 weeks on Thursdays, 1.00 – 3.00pm from 11th November
Using Google Apps (Free to those receiving certain state benefits – must have lived in the UK for 3 years). This course runs for 10 weeks on Thursdays, 1.00 – 3.00pm from 2nd March
There are also three Introduction to Microsoft Application courses running in November & December. These are short courses that run over 2 Wednesday afternoons and focus on a core software within Microsoft Office in order to develop and extend your skills:
Microsoft Word, November 2nd & 9th
Spreadsheets, November 16th & 23rd
PowerPoint, November 30th & December 7th
